It is now possible to place an advert of very own on Two Wheel Deals. It is a fairly painless process, but just in case you need a helping hand or are curious about the "whole online-selling-thing" we've provided this guide. Step One – Registration

Before you can advertise on the site you need to register your details with us. This is for legal reasons and to ensure that your contact details can be displayed with your bike, after all it’s no good placing an advert if the buyer can’t get hold of you.

In order to register you will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions. Please read through these and only select the agree checkbox if you understand and agree with them.

The registration form includes several fields that are mandatory these are indicated where appropriate.

Selecting a location-based postcode along with your actual postcode will enable us to ensure that distance-specific searches can be performed accurately.

Step Two – Logging on

Once you have successfully registered, you will receive a notification email that will include your login details. These can be used in the private sales section of the site to gain access to the advertising system.

Once you have logged in, you will be able to place new adverts as well as manage existing ones.

Step Three – Composing your Advert

As with the registration form the several required fields, please enter only valid and honest information in these fields. Please note that the earliest year that can be entered is 1910.

The Description field is your opportunity to highlight some of the outstanding features of bike so make the most of it. See our guide to selling bikes for handy tips.

It is also possible to upload up to six images in the JPEG format (the image format used by most digital cameras). The dimensions should be between 640x480 and 1024x768.

Step Four – Previewing your advert and making payment

Before you part with your hard-earned cash, you can preview your advert by clicking on the Continue button.

When the preview window pops up please be sure to double-check the details and if you are not happy with the results click on the Amend Advert button which will close the preview window and return you to the advert composition window.

If you are pleased with the way your advert will appear and sure all of the details are correct you can click on the Place advert button. Doing so will return you to the main window and then take you to the secure WorldPay payment system. You can use one of many payment options that are available. When the payment process has been completed you will informed by the final screen and then later by email. At this point you advert will be registered on the Two Wheel Deals system – Congratulations!
